Nursing at The Miriam Hospital
Outstanding Care
From our earliest days, The Miriam Hospital has been recognized for the superior professional and compassionate care our nurses provide.

Join Our Team
We believe that caring about you is just as important as caring for you.
We have some of the best nurses delivering health with care. Our nurses put the patient at the center of nursing practice, so that patients truly feel cared for.
A Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence
In 1998, The Miriam was the ninth hospital in the country to achieve Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for rigorous quality of care standards and sustained excellence in nursing practice. Our nurses help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Continual Enrichment and Professional Growth
A Lifespan partner and teaching hospital, The Miriam Hospital is affiliated with nursing schools in Rhode Island and Connecticut, and with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. We promote evidence- and research-based practice and are committed to lifelong professional development.
