Diagnostic Imaging Team
The physician staff of the department of diagnostic imaging includes sixty-six board-certified diagnostic radiologists, each fellowship trained, and subspecialty board certified in nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, neuroradiology, women’s imaging, and pediatric radiology. Thirty-five members of the department are currently participating actively in the research program. Areas of particular expertise include Nuclear and PET imaging evaluating movement and cognitive disorders, vascular and interventional radiology including non-surgical ablative therapy (radiofrequency and microwave thermal ablation and cryoablation), MR imaging (including cardiac and perfusion MR imaging), women’s imaging (including MR imaging of the breast and ablative techniques to treat small breast cancers), computed tomography (including cardiac and peripheral vascular applications), sonography, diagnostic radiology, and pediatric radiology.
