Patients and Visitors
At Lifespan, patient comfort and well-being are foremost, so we strive to provide safe, compassionate care of the highest quality for all patients – children and adults, inpatients and outpatients.
MyLifespan Online Health Record
Information from all of your Lifespan health care providers is available online. MyLifespan is free, and can be accessed from any device with an internet connection.
Our patients are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to making sure the care we provide is effective, efficient, and convenient, and we emphasize patient safety as our top priority. We involve employees, staff, and physicians at all levels of the organization in our quality and safety processes, because many people are involved in caring for each patient.
We encourage you to be a partner in your care – to give us feedback and ask us questions, and also to know your rights and responsibilities as a patient. We hope the information provided here is helpful.
Visitation Guidelines at Lifespan Hospitals
In response to the number of COVID cases throughout the state, and in accordance with Rhode Island Department of Health guidance, Lifespan has implemented new visitation policies at our acute care hospitals.
Our caring, highly skilled interpreters provide services to our non-English speaking and deaf or hard of hearing patients. Lifespan facilities typically have interpreters on duty, who speak Spanish, as well as interpreters who speak Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, Russian, other languages, and American Sign Language.
