Laura Tedeschi, MS, RDN, LDN, is a registered dietitian with Lifespan’s Center for Cardiac, Pulmonary, and Vascular Fitness and Lifestyle Medicine Center. She earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree—both in human nutrition—from the University of Rhode Island.
Working in the field of nutrition and medical nutrition therapy since 1990, Tedeschi has expertise in clinical, academic, and administrative settings in the areas of weight management counseling, nutrition-focused physical exam (NFPE) assessments, curriculum development, and student advisement. She previously worked as an administrative dietitian at Brandeis University and a clinical dietitian for CharterCare HealthPartners at Fatima Hospital. She was also an instructor of normal and medical nutrition therapy at the former St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing.
Tedeschi is fluent in Italian, and a member of the Rhode Island Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (RIAND), the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). She is a member of the AND practice groups Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, and Counselors and Educators of Health Professionals.
