Jennie Johnson, MD is an infectious diseases specialist and Co-Director of the Lifespan Lyme Disease Center. Dr. Johnson received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Dr. Johnson completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Oregon Health and Science University, Portland. She completed her fellowship in infectious diseases at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Johnson also serves as an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Disease at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and is an adjunct assistant professor of medicine at both Bryant University and Johnson and Wales University. She is also the assistant medical director of the Infectious Diseases and Immunology Center at The Miriam Hospital. 

Dr. Johnson is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the American College of Physicians.
