Cardiologist

Matthew Kluge, MD, MA, is a cardiologist with the Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute. He earned both his master of arts in medical sciences and medical degree at Boston University and completed his residency in internal medicine at Boston University Medical Center.

Dr. Kluge worked as a hospitalist at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, as well as an instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Before coming to Lifespan, he completed his general cardiology fellowship at the University of Vermont Medical Center and served as an instructor of medicine at the University of Vermont Medical School.

Dr. Kluge’s research interests include inflammatory marker analysis, silk-based vascular grafts, and erectile dysfunction in the trajectory of cardiovascular disease.
