Roy Souaid, MD

Roy Souaid, MD, is an internal medicine specialist at Lifespan Physician Group. He earned his medical degree from Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and Kent Hospital with Brown University. His clinical interests include autoimmune disorders and preventative medicine.

During his training, he contributed to medical research and was published in several journals and presented at national conferences. He was given the Young Achiever Award at the American College of Physicians National Conference in 2018 and received the ICARE award from the Providence VA Hospital. He was recognized for excellence in teaching while at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and was identified as a Positive Champion of the learning environment. Dr. Souaid also participated as a speaker in the first complementary and alternative medicine seminar in Providence. Dr. Souaid is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Association for Physician Leadership.
