Sheenagh Bodkin, MD

Sheenagh Bodkin, MD leads the Healthy Way Program at the Lifespan Physician Group Lifestyle Medicine Center, and is director of obesity medicine for the Center for Bariatric Surgery at The Miriam Hospital. She is responsible for integrating obesity medicine services at the center, overseeing the use of medications, offering lifestyle support through Intuitive Eating, data collection and outcomes monitoring. Dr. Bodkin is a certified Intuitive Eating counselor. 

A clinical assistant professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Dr. Bodkin received a medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. She completed her residency at Boston Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident in ambulatory care. She is board certified in internal medicine.

Her interests include lifestyle support through Intuitive Eating and a non-weight centered, intuitive eating approach to patients after bariatric surgery. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
