Lifespan Urgent Care Prompt-Pay Information
Lifespan Urgent Care offers a tiered-level rate approach, which is based on medical necessity, to cover self-pay services. The appropriate tier price is subject to the clinical assessment and the medical and professional decision-making of the provider who is providing these services. Below is a quote of the service(s) to be provided, which are subject to change at any time due to the complexity of your condition.
Tier 1: Clinic visit with lab tests (if needed) - Rate: $150
Common conditions in this tier include, but are not limited to:
- Bladder infection
- Ear infection
- Flu, cold, fever
- Minor burns, sunburns
- Pregnancy test
- Skin infection
- Strep or sore throat
- Tonsillitis
Tier 2: Clinic visit with radiology/hydration - Rate: $200
Common conditions and treatments in this tier include, but are not limited to:
- Asthma
- Bronchitis
- Diarrhea
- Eye irritation requiring imaging
- Medication injection (other than vaccine)
- Neurological exam
- Pneumonia
- Sprain/strain/musculoskeletal injury
- Wound care
Tier 3: Clinic visit with common procedures - Rate: $250
Common conditions and treatments in this tier include, but are not limited to:
- Abscess drainage
- Cellulitis
- Ear wax removal
- Fainting
- Ingrown toenail
- Internal exam
- Single-layer sutures (stitches)
- Sprain/strain/musculoskeletal injury with intervention
Additional Information about Discounted Pricing
Please note the following:
- Discounted tiered pricing cannot be used in conjunction with insurance, and only applies if the full payment is collected at the time of service.
- Durable medical equipment is not included in the tiered pricing and will be billed separately.
- Discounted tiered pricing does not include vaccinations and/or immunizations.
- Certain laboratory services are not included in the tiered pricing and will be billed separately.
- Prices are effective October 1, 2022, and are subject to change without notice.
Financial Assistance
Lifespan treats all people who need care, regardless of their ability to pay.
The patient financial services department offers financial assistance to patients who meet specific income guidelines. Please note that copies of your tax returns, W-2 forms and other documents are required to apply for financial assistance.
If you are not insured, or insured for only part of your expenses, please speak with one of our financial counselors. They can help you set up a payment plan or apply for financial assistance.
