Lifespan Research Day 2024

The Lifespan Office of Research will host its 31st annual Research Day on Friday, November 8, 2024.

More than 460 clinical trials are currently underway at Lifespan, and awards from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other sources, totaling more than $120 million, support Lifespan’s pioneering academic and clinical research. Please join us in celebrating the research being conducted at Lifespan.

Keynote Speaker

The event will be headlined by a presentation from Russell J. McCulloh, MD, titled Clinical Trials Innovations: Conducting Clinical Trials in Rural and Underserved Settings.

Dr. McCulloh is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is also the associate vice chancellor of clinical research for UNMC, the vice president for research for Nebraska Medicine, and the medical director for clinical and translational research operations at Children's Nebraska. He completed his infectious diseases fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital and Brown University. He earned his MD from the University of Missouri.
